Parts Warranty
All products when installed correctly are covered by a limited part warranty by Repower Marine against defects in materials and workmanship for a period 1 year from the date of sale.
This warranty does not extend to any labour cost of removal or re-installation for all parts, or any other costs incurred (see liabilities below)
Faulty goods shall be returned to the manufacturer for review and testing. Based on the manufacturers' findings, we will repair, (or at our sole option) replace the part with the same or superior product, without charge or not provide any of the aforementioned.
This warranty extends to the application under normal use and services and does not apply to submersion, deliberate abuse, careless handling, burnt out units, submerged units, tampering or dismantling of units will render this warranty null and void.
We will require a reasonable opportunity to investigate any claim made under the warranty, parts must be pacakged and returned to the regestered address with writted description of fault.
Engine Warranty
NEW AND REMANUFACTURED MARINE ENGINES are warranted for a period of twelve [12] months from the date of invoice with unlimited hours for pleasure craft, and six [6] months or 500 hours for commercial use. Warranty is transferable with sale of the boat, but Repower Marine must be notified in writing by the original customer of the new owner details, and supply proof of purchase including date of new ownership within 21 days of sale.
(A) Warranty service is available by calling 01326 618099 Monday through Friday during the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No repair of the product will be covered by this warranty without the specific prior knowledge and consent of Repower Marine. Return of defect shall be made to within thirty (30) days of discovery and prior to the expiration of the warranty.
(B) Repower will, at its option, repair, replace or refund any product which is determined to be defective in material or workmanship, upon receipt of product, via pre-paid shipment.
(C) Repower's liability under this limited warranty, for the cost of labor for removal and reinstallation of any engine which is found to be defective in material or workmanship and which is repaired or replaced is limited to the labor expense determined from hours at flat rate of £45.00 per hour. Repower's liability for parts replacement is limited to only jobber cost of parts (i.e. gasket kit, oil pump, etc.). In no event shall the total amount of labor cost exceed £750.00.
(D) This warranty is also expressly in lieu of all other obligations or liabilities, including liability for indirect incidental, consequential or special damages or any other economic loss with respect to the sale or use of the items warranted.
(E) This warranty does not apply to normal maintenance or adjustments, normal wear due to working conditions, failure of associated parts, components and assemblies not included in the sale of the product, products which have been damaged by improper installation, accident, misuse, or neglect or which have been repaired or altered by someone other than Repower or its authorized representative, or to products used outside specified application including marine, stationary uses, propane conversion, or to products which are not operated in accordance with the printed instructions of seller or which have been operated beyond the rated capacity of the product; or to products damaged by overheating and/or improper lubrication.
Limitations of Liabilities
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or for fraudulent misrepresentation; or for any matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude, or attempt to exclude, our liability.
Repower Marine will not be liable to you for the following: any direct, indirect or consequential, special or punitive loss, damage, costs or expenses, loss of profit or income, loss of business, waste of management or office time.
If your use of purchased parts results in the need for servicing, diagnosis, repair or correction of equipment, data or software, you assume all costs thereof.
Repower Marine's total liability to you under these terms will not exceed 125% (one hundred and twenty five per cent) of the price payable for the goods for any one event or series of connected events.
