Circulation & sea water pumps for Mercruiser engines.

Mercruiser circulation water pumps mount in the middle of the engine, failure is often indicated by water dripping from the weep hole behind the pulley or noisy running.

Mercruiser sea water pumps are mounted low on the engine usually on the starboard side, they contain a rubber impeller and provide cooling water to the engine. Raw water pumps are only used on Bravo and shaft drive engines not Alpha Spec.
